DT Industries having produced a 3 dimensional computer model, typically created using SolidWorks can provide either an SLA rapid prototype or Solid Freeform Fabrication, Desk Top Manufacturing or Layer Manufacturing Technolory or as an alternative CNC generated models.
Rapid prototyping is a technology that takes a three-dimensional computer model and builds a three dimensional part by building layers upon layer of material. It is both fast and undertaken at a relatively low cost, allowing the Client or Designer to confirm their new designs prior to committing to expensive tooling or offering a product to the market.

DT Industries can also provide where appropriate CNC machined generated models which provide generally the same confidence, but at a higher cost, with the added advantage of it being in the correct or nominated range of polymer.
